VIAC x IPBA | Roundtable discussion "Arbitration in Vietnam: Developments and emerging trends"

On the sidelines of the 2026 Mid-Year Council Meeting and Regional Conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with IPBA, will host the Roundtable discussion “Arbitration in Vietnam: Developments and emerging trends”.

As investment and commercial activities in Vietnam continue to expand, the dispute resolution landscape is also undergoing significant developments. The roundtable discussion will provide a forum for discussion and dialogue on key developments in arbitration in Vietnam, ranging from the latest changes to the VIAC Rules to emerging developments and legal issues arising in arbitration practice.

In addition to sharing insights on the legal framework and arbitration practice, the rountable will explore emerging trends, the growing expectations of businesses to arbitration mechanisms, and the evolving demands placed on arbitrators, lawyers, and arbitral institutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of dispute resolution.
